I am so excited! My friend, Brenda, also known as Secret Agent Josephine, launched her books today! How awesome is that? There’s the ABC’s, Numbers, and Colors. The virtual book tour starts today! There will be prizes, crafts, and a secret clue game. I’ll be playing along. You can be all stealthy too.

Caught Up In Tiny Details

You know what’s silly? I am. I’ve been making a new banner. And I get caught up in these tiny little details that you cannot even see, like our hair. Or the wine and french bread in our basket. And then I neglect things like the placement of our hands, they look a little funky.

So, I decided to just stop and put it up since I’m focusing on the wrong things. Done. New banner.

Round and Round

Nathan threw up twice last night. And once today. My poor little guy. At least I didn’t go through as many clothes. I just got thrown up on once. More what I wore today drawings:

I started the morning in my black and white nightgown. Then we went out and I had to wear real clothes. Boo. Then we got home and I changed back into my nightgown. Hey, makes breastfeeding easier. Then I got vomited on so I changed into my purple nightgown.

And totally random old video just because.

Following His Sister’s Footsteps

The other day Nathan had his first nose bleed.

Isabelle was all, “what?! He’s just like me!”

And just like his sister, he’s been throwing up. What am I talking about? Well, on Sunday Isabelle started throwing up. She didn’t have a fever or anything. But she was throwing up. We called the advice nurse and she prescribed some medicine over the phone. On Monday the vomiting hadn’t stopped so we gave her the medicine and just like that, no more vomiting.

Well, yesterday, Nathan started to throw up just like Isabelle had. Except he was worse. But it wasn’t apparent right away. He threw up three times in the morning. Then he was fine. So fine that we thought, it’s warm so let’s set up the kiddie pool and let the kids play in it.

Ok. Not so smart maybe. After his nap he started throwing up again. Lots. On me.

I went through so many outfits.

Ok. He didn’t throw up on the bathing suit or the clothes. Just the nightgowns, the top two on the left. And I just realized right now I forgot to draw one nightgown. I went through three that day.

So we brought him to the doctor today.

By then he had thrown up like eleven times total from yesterday. Just vomit everywhere. He threw up in the car twice. Once to the doctor’s and once back. He’s lost ten ounces. Surprisingly though he didn’t cry at the doctor’s. Usually when she’s poking at him he cries. But today I laid him down and held his hand and he was pretty much fine. Maybe his not feeling well meant he had no fight in him.

So, anyhoo, the doctor prescribed him the same medicine. And it worked. Awesome. Hope he follows Isabelle’s pattern and is fine tomorrow with no more vomit.

What I Wore Today From Yesterday

I haven’t done one of these, what I wore today, in a while. And yes I was wearing Nathan. He is getting over a cold and is a little needy. I was trying to make breakfast but he wasn’t having any of that, crying up a storm.

So, I pulled out the wrap. He practically climbed in he was so eager to get in there, pulling his legs up and trying to slip them into the loops.

Yes my little guy is grumpy. That is why as I’m typing this or swyping this one handed on my phone, he is sitting in my lap.

I don’t remember Isabelle doing so many things that make my heart want to beat right out of my chest in fear. One of Nathan’s favorites is trying to jump off the bed. He still holds our hands when he does this…barely. It’s quite frightening. He’s a little dare devil.
