Appointments and Monthly Family Photos

Bogged down here. I mentioned we’ve been busy this week. On Monday Isabelle had a dentist appointment.
At the dentist
A cavity is starting. :( And Nathan’s teeth aren’t looking that great so we scheduled an appointment for him next week. The dentist said I need to stop breastfeeding him at night. But I don’t know any other way.

We also had an ophthalmologist appointment for both of the kids. Nathan’s eyes look good. And Isabelle’s eyes are slowly slowly improving. I think the doctor said her left eye is now 20/200?
Visit with the ophthalmologist

And that was just two days this week. I’m not even going to talk about the two homeschool meetups we went to. How about I just share our monthly family photos. That’s easy.

Isabelle is now five years five months.

And Nathan is one year five months.

I can’t believe we’ve been taking monthly family photos for over five years now.

  1. If your dentist tells you night nursing is causing Nathan’s tooth decay (it’s not! breastfeeding doesn’t allow milk to pool in the mouth in the same way that bottlefeeding does) direct him to this article:

There’s a ton of resources at the bottom of the page, too!

  2. Trust Bethany. Doctors know sh-t! I cannot stand conventional doctors’ and dentists’ advice whose only knowledge is from textbooks that are written and sponsored by corrupt pharmaceutical company, whose top priority is money and not the people. While the doctor may have the best intention, they don’t have the best knowledge. People have been night time nursing for thousands of years. Breastmilk has a special enzyme that protects against cavities. Google that.
Google “does breastfeeding at night reallly cause cavaties?” as well.
New research conducted by Brian Palmer, D.D.S. says that “Human breastmilk is not cariogenic. Dr. Erickson’s research has demonstrated that some infant formulas dissolve tooth enamel, significantly reduce pH, and cause dental caries and pulp involvement.1,2 Other authors have also questioned the purported link between breastfeeding and infant caries. A 1998 review by Sinton notes deficiencies in the empiric evidence, citing “the contradictory nature of previous research findings and weak methodology used.”4 Furthermore, the director of the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, has stated that “population-based studies do not support a definitive link between prolonged breastfeeding and caries.” – taken from http://www.brianpalmerdds.com/bfeed_caries.htm

Really, this is why I have a naturalistic doctor who is also a conventional western doctor, but also holistic. Even with normal conventional doctorate degree, she always goes with the alternatives, unless specified by her patient. I also research the heck out of everything especially when my children are ate stake.

My conventional doctor told me to give my kids fluoride drops and now the government is reducing the fluoride in the water saying that they were mistaken and fluoride is causing low iq and dental fluorosis, weak, mottled teeth causing cavities, and a bunch or other problems and pain. Thank goodness I have already done my research and new that fluoride was a scam. I just took that bottle of fluoride and threw it in the trash. I have a filter that filters out the fluoride. I never brush with fluoride toothpaste. I add fluoride remover into our bath water. I have reduced all our fluoride intake.
Don’t worry about breatfeeding him at night. Your dentist needs to go to those dentist seminars that update all the new research done in the field. I have breastfeed my children every night and none of them have cavities. Just use a baby wash cloth and scrub his teeth more often. Drop Wild Child Healthy Gum Drops by living libations onto his gums and massage it in. This kills cavity causing germs with essential oils. I use tooth chips on the kids. I use tooth chips and peppermint oil for myself. I don’t even have plaque or tarter forming on our teeth. I don’t even have to go to the dentist anymore, my teeth is so healthy. I have zero plaque and tarter. No yucky film on my teeth what so ever. Call me if you want my regime.

  3. Breastfeeding does not cause cavities. So keep on nursing little momma!
