Ninja vs Toddler

This ninja was tiny! A teensy little thing. Isabelle and her toys… I keep telling her not to play with little things around her brother. And I did a clean out and put all the tiny things away. Or so I thought. But every so often Isabelle will come up with a tiny toy that ends up in Nathan’s mouth.

Poo-alicious

I made a new banner today. And, as usual, I need some input when I’m making it. I wanted us as gingerbread cookies but I think we look more like poo. I may work on it a little more. Maybe. Or maybe I’ll just accept us in all our poo-alicious glory. :)

Alan suggested I make a gingerbread house behind us. But I didn’t really want to spend gobs of time on it. And he originally liked the first background I had, with us cookies standing outside in the snow with snowflakes all around. But that’s even more poo like…doggy poo…outside. I could have added some steam lines to us.

I think my favorite of Alan’s suggestions was this:
Alan's banner idea
Bwa ha ha!! Twisted.

*Update: I added an outline so we’re not so poopy anymore.

Silly fluff post ahead below.

What are you looking at?

Is it my hair?

I’m rocking it.

You so jealous.

We’ve been busy and I have a lot to share but Mr. Rocker is being a handful right now. Maybe this weekend.

Cute Video

It’s been very quiet here on my little space this month. Alan’s work schedule changed for the busy holiday season. He’s going to work seven hours earlier and it’s been hard trying to find the time to sit down at the computer. I usually try to get on when Alan is home so he can occupy the kids. The same goes with the cooking. But now, I only have time to do the cooking since he’s leaving early. I guess I could have blogged instead of cooked but I think our stomachs would have objected. :-D

And on the weekends, I think: perfect, Alan’s home and I can get something done. But what usually happens is, we’re out and about or enjoying each other’s company and yeah, so no blogging. But yesterday I cooked two days worth. So, today I had free time to finish editing the handful of photos (which I started days and days ago) and a video!

Today, I’ll just share the video. I had enough time to edit everything but Alan left before I could blog so I probably won’t have time to write anything more than this.

It’s a video of Nathan closing cabinets in the kitchen. That’s all it is. Three separate clips from three separate days of him closing cabinets.

It sounds so boring but I obviously think it’s adorable since I recorded him doing it on three separate occasions. The first clip I liked because you hear Nathan saying “uh oh”. The second clip I liked because he was so proud of his closing door skills that he was clapping. And the third clip, which is rather long, you can hear him say “close” several times!

Bowling Good Time

I may have more time on the computer this week. YAY! Alan’s work changed everyone’s schedule again and he’s back to his normal hours. And I say may because though I have the time I don’t know if I have the inclination. I haven’t even been online through my oh so lovely phone. I’ve been doing a lot of knitting and reading. Reading while Nathan is napping. And knitting when Nathan is awake and not super grabby.

But anyhoo, let me post really quick and share some pictures from oh…weeks ago.

We went to a kids bowling birthday party! I cannot remember the last time I went bowling. Maybe a decade ago? I’ve only gone a handful of times in my entire life. I know when I last went it wasn’t this black light thing. And there weren’t screens showing music videos while you bowled. So very weird.

Daddy was showing her how to bowl

I bowled with the adults and Isabelle bowled with the kids. I had fun but Isabelle loved it. I mean really really loved it. Or maybe she just really really loves bowling balls. After the games, Isabelle and Alan went to the little bowling ball shop. And Isabelle wanted one; a bowling ball.

Throwing the ball

But seeing how we never bowl, I don’t see the point in buying her a bowling ball. But she had so much fun we should bring her again.

Us

Bridgette? Want to go bowling with us? We’ll get a few of us together and go after the holidays?
