I mentioned over a week ago that I had more pictures to show but never got to them. So, here I am trying to get back to regular posting. The baby shower for Alan’s sister I mentioned oh ages ago. These are the pictures I didn’t get to.

We were at the fabric store getting fabric to make Isabelle a poncho…that I don’t know when I’ll get to. And I told Isabelle to pick some fabric out to make a baby blanket for her Aunty Jo’s baby in her belly. And Isabelle went right for this robot cotton flannel.

Then I still had time left and fabric left so I thought I’d give this baby shoe pattern by Stardust Shoes a try.

Aren’t they adorable?! I should have made some for Nathan when he was smaller. He’s too big for them now.

But were we done there? Nope. I decided we’d make some matching wrapping paper.

I drew some robots out and Isabelle helped me paint them.

And a little robot family card.

Then we were done.

Did I mention the weekend before Nestle died, our fish died. Life sucks that way sometimes. It turns out the heater overheated, and cooked them alive. How very disturbing, huh? Well, we went out and bought Isabelle some new fish. And then a few days later, Alan decided to buy her some snails. He only meant to buy two because he thought there were only two kinds so asked for “one of each.” He found out there were actually four kinds when the sales person pulled out four of them.

Annoying neighbors who totally don’t appreciate their dog. And two days of balloon animals because Isabelle went to Fry’s two days in a row. It was their anniversary and they had clowns and face painting and juggling, etc.

And, yes, we sing about pancakes when we make them. Doesn’t everyone? Ok, maybe we don’t usually sing about pancakes but we did that day. And I totally thought Isabelle said she had a bad dream about socks. I thought that the whole day until I told Alan about it and Isabelle corrected me.

And yep, playing a lot of guitar. I have a DVD, book, and a CD. I didn’t realize the DVD had other music on it that isn’t in the book. That’s cool but the man plays it so fast that I cannot keep up. I had to write down the music so I could learn it first before even attempting to keep up with him. And the sad thing is I still can’t keep up. He does it once slow, then fast. I cannot even keep up with the slow. Well practice makes perfect right? Well, I am learning.

Hee hee...princess Nathan
I’m really struggling to find computer time lately. It feels like Nathan always wants me near him.

Cuties
I’m sneaking in the computer time right now while the kids are sleeping.

I’m so behind. Today, while Alan was keeping Nathan occupied I went looking in my picture folder. I must have had over 1000 photos. 1000 untouched unseen photos. That’s just crazy. So here are more then a few.

Waving ribbons around
These are from our family photo sessions every month. We have two sessions each month, one for when each kid turns a month older. Sometimes we’re behind though. But I guess that’s ok. At least we’ve been getting it done.

And it’s sort of nice that we do it twice a month. Every year at Christmas I’ve been getting Alan a Shutterfly album. And the last page shows 12 months of family photos. And now with Nathan’s albums, he’ll get his own 12 months.

And we made sure to get Waldo in them because I said to Alan, “if we had just taken the time, even though it was an extra bother, to get the dogs in the picture, we would have had all these pictures of Nestle.”
