Doing New Things
I’ve mentioned a couple of times that we’ve joined a homeschool meetup group. Well, I’m finally getting around to talking about it. We joined the group when Nathan wasn’t even 3 weeks old yet. We meet once a week. It’s nice that Isabelle can hang out with a pretty regular group of kids. I’ve really enjoyed it. We get to do new things and go to places we’ve never been to.
We’ve already gone on a wetland walk.

And to a small airport to watch planes take off.

The moms are all nice and don’t even say anything or look at me funny when I sit there all weird trying to hide from the sun. ![]()

Yeah, so it’s pretty cool. Even when I get lost trying to find a place. And travel along the coast on some quiet road surrounded by trees.

A road so curvy the speed limit is 15mph. Where I don’t see any other cars or a single soul. I imagine it’s a perfect place for serial killers to jump out from the bushes. A road right out of the movies where you don’t want to break down. Where there’s no cell service. And no one can hear you scream. And then I have to calm myself down and try not to hyperventilate because I let my imagination run away with me. I don’t really know if there was no cell service. I just went aaaahhhhh crazy dreaming up stuff!!
So yeah, even then, it’s cool.

wow…the road must’ve been pretty quiet for you to be able to safely pull out your camera to take the picture, lol! lock your doors!!
Aah I did not know Isabelle was homeschooled! I think a meetup group is such a great idea. Sounds like fun ^_^
