Cute baby #25, falling
Isabelle did this the other night. It was frustrating and oh so cute. It was time for bed and I was cleaning up the living room. I was straightening everything and piling her toys up nice and neatly because I didn’t feel like dragging them all to her room. Then she starts walking by me with more toys. And she’s piling them up there too. I think, oh how cute, she’s helping me clean up. I turn around for a second and that’s when she slid down, the toys falling every which way.

So frustrating but yes, cute. I had to smile then pick them all up again.

Go read cute baby #24, missing daddy.

  1. LOL i had to comment on this because my 4 year old does exactly the same thing…love the illustration of her walking back and forth with more toys – reminded me of Charlee instantly he he

  2. LOL! She is so cute! I noticed the last time I was over here, WOW her hair is getting sooo long! I remember when it was just long enough to stand straight up in little pig tails. Where did those days go?? Maddie’s hair is half-way down her back now too. Why do they have to grow so fast? And why do we have to wait so long for more babies?? OK. I’m totally rambling now. Give her a kiss for me :) Have a happy weekend.

  3. haha!! always enjoy your comic strips!! and totally understand that feeling!! ^^

  4. My mother used to say a home with scattered toys or crayon drawings on the wall was “decorated in Early Childhood” and considered it a sign that the creative spirit was alive and well within.

At some point she’ll outgrow it. At least that’s what I’ve been told. My daughter is 14 and still leaves a trail of debris in her wake.
