What a Great Day
At Isabelle’s appointment today, she got another contact, a +6.0. It went right in on the second try. It happened so quickly, I couldn’t believe it. She could see 20/30 with it. And she’s still wearing it right now, it made it past nap time. Whoo hoo!
We also tried on glasses for when she won’t be wearing contacts.
And now that she can see better, she’s playing more. Well that’s what the doctor asked and Alan said, “yes, she is playing more.” I didn’t really notice yesterday but I did today. But maybe that’s because, today, we got a new printer and we have a left over box. Plus all the innards that came with it.

Isabelle has already rowed around the world, put all her dolls down for a nap in their own little styrofoam beds, eaten at her own little table, and taken a bath, actually multiple baths.
Link to bath video in case you can’t see it above.
Boxes are the most amazing, fun toy for kids ever. Oh and eye drops. Isabelle is asking for those over and over. She needs to wet the “bubble” in her eye.
Whoo, what a day!

She looks so cute with her stylish glasses!
I am so very happy that things are “looking” up! She’s going to do great since you found out so early. My brother had similar eye problems when he was very young, too. Love seeing her play.
The glasses are adorable on her. I’m glad you were able to get another contact without to much trouble. That can be a pain. The play bath was so cute!
Hooray for good news!
She looks so cute in glasses!
She does look just like you! How adorable.
Boxes are the best toys ever!
How cute, Mom and baby matching glasses.
What a good idea too telling her that she has a bubble in her eye, or was that Isabelle’s own conclusion?
Love the way she looks in glasses. Wish I had those glasses. My red glasses broke. Wahhhhhhh!
That was the doctor’s idea. That’s how she introduced Isabelle to the contact. Touching the “bubble” to her nose and to her cheeks, etc…
Those glasses are SO cute!
I had glasses when I was her age, too. Not sure if you’re interested, but I recently started buying glasses from this online store called Zenni Optical. I pay about sixteen dollars per pair, which includes shipping to Canada.
I’ve ordered six pairs so far, and all of them have been really well-made, and right to my prescription. My mom probably would have appreciated it when I was growing up, because I went through so many pairs. Just a thought.
she looks beautiful with the glasses!! =)
