Skirts and Rides?

I haven’t worn shorts in I can’t remember how long. During the summer when it’s super hot, I find skirts and dresses a lot cooler. Sure I have to worry about a stray breeze sometimes but that’s just like air conditioning for my butt. Har har har! Ok not really. I just felt like typing that because it gave me a giggle.
So Alan said we would go buy some shorts this weekend. I guess that’s a good idea since I’ll be on rides.
But look at how they used to dress at Disneyland. They didn’t have problems with rides.
petticoats? sounds uncomfortable.
Whenever I go to “the happiest place on earth,” I wear tennis shoes, and shorts. Because there is a lot of walking
Don’t get ‘em! If you’re used to wearing skirts, the shorts will drive you nutso with the thigh-clinging/riding/sticking-to-the-seats-ing and such.
If you’re worried about it, buy one pair of lightweight clamdiggers. Just as cool as shorts, or even cooler, and no worries.
Skirts are so much more comfortable, so just get some cheap bike shorts and wear them under your skirt! I haven’t owned a pair of shorts for over four years now.

Also being a photographer,( well hubby is..but I tag along and help) your photos are great and so clear.
Keep writing, you are funny and I love your cartoons, how do you do them, do you actually draw them and upload them? You sound very clever.
I don’t wear shorts – ever. My thighs just weren’t make for them. They don’t ever stay in one place and are always, uncomfortably, riding up in the middle. Sad! ;(
Like Isaspacey wrote above – I wear either bike shorts under my skirts/dresses or those cute boy shorts that dancers wear.
Yep, keep the skirts/dresses and just add a pair of shorts underneath. Skirts are so much more classy anyway, and after seeing that green dress, I’d say you look beautiful in that style!
Wear what’s going to make you comfortable. I’d probably stick a pair of shorts under a skirt.
