Overwhelmed
Today I was going to post about the beautiful new book I got. I took a couple of pictures of the book but I’m feeling a little overwhelmed today so am not in the mood.

Isabelle has a diaper rash. I think this is her second ever diaper rash. It is so sad. Yesterday when I was changing her she was crying and saying, “it hurts! it hurts!!”
And she was crying and shaking in her bath. It is so awful.
And today I wanted to let her run around without a diaper but she isn’t having any of it. She’s not liking the nakedness.
And the house is trashed. Actually for the past few days Isabelle has been wreaking havoc in the house. She takes all the pillows off the couch and tosses them all over the living room. She does the same with her toys. It looks like a toddler’s been through. Oh wait…a toddler has been through.
You know, it’s one of those days. I wanted Alan to stay home from work but he didn’t and he got all mad about it. ![]()

I’m so sorry for her. It’s hard to see your child hurting. Have you ever tried bag balm? It works really well. My sisters and I swear by it. Hope she’s doing much better soon.

gosh… diaper rash is so irritating…. have you tried putting isabelle on panties during the day.. it would be so much airy and drier.. maybe she like it and also can train her on potty too. ashley’s choosed her own ‘princess disney’ panties and she liked them so much..she begun disliked her diapers! lol.

I think we all have periods of overwhelmedness. The house is a mess. There are too many projects to do. My email box is overflowing. Our schedule is packed. There are too many obligations. Sigh. Just imagine that someday our kids will be in school for several hours a day and we may be able to recover then!
I hope the weekend helps!

I just thought that I would tell you that a few months ago my daughter had a really bad diaper rash and it was the same thing the bath hurt it changing her hurt it. She was just so sore. And something in me told me to take her to the Dr. So I did and it ended up being Strep virus. I guess it is pretty common for children to get the step virus on their little bottoms. So, you might just want to keep and eye out.

Oh I know those days so well. Poor baby girl with the sore bum! Try putting LOTS of baking soda in her bath, that helps the diaper rash a lot. My little girl gets a bad one everytime she is teething…and she’s been getting all 4 molars for about 2 months now. So, we have LOTS of butt creams in our arsenal. If you need any recommendations, let me know.
Breathe…I know it’s hard, but just remember to breathe. Big hugs!
