Woof Woof

I have had the book, Sock and Glove, sitting around for a while. I briefly flipped through it then set it aside. Well last night I finally made something from it, a sock dog!!

His face isn’t quite right. It doesn’t look like the one in the book. My sock dog’s face is more squarish and his ears stick up like he’s constantly surprised. (I pushed his ears down for the pictures)

But Isabelle doesn’t mind. She sees him and says, woof woof!

perfection is never a good thing for handmade softies, they have to have something that makes them original! He looks very cute!

LOVE the sock dog? Whatever happened to you having a store where all these cuties can be sold? I wanna sock dog for me (not Andrew). Love the colorway on this example. Is it really made from socks? Which of you donated socks?
Kuky says: I think about a store. But I don’t know if that will ever happen. Sometimes I just like trying new things, the process. I don’t know if I’m cut out for making many multiples of things. I’d get bored I think.
And yep it’s really one pair of socks. I should have taken before pictures but didn’t think of it. And no-one donated socks. I wanted something colorful and we don’t have colorful socks. So I bought them new and fresh from Target.
