Simplicity 3750 Again
I’ve been meaning to write about how I tried Simplicity 3750 again. Still needs work. I understood the suggestions on how to alter it or I thought I did. But I’ve never made alterations before so changing the pattern didn’t go as expected. When I changed the pieces they no longer lined up properly for sewing, weird angles and whatnot. So I tinkered and tinkered on muslin and then just gave up. I was itching to work with my real fabric and foolishly was determined to wear it to Isabelle’s birthday party. So that’s how I ended up with this.
It’s an improvement from the muslin but could be better. Ahhh so goes the way of most rushed projects.
And now onto something else completely different. More silly “hat” wearing. Plus daddy shoe wearing.

That picture of isabelle is soo funny because I have exactly the same of my son when he was 2, n his onesie, with those very big shoes of daddy and something on his head, exactly like isabelle!!! That is weird!

When my sister’s son was the same age, he took to wearing an ice-cream container on his head. He wouldn’t take it off for months. She used to have to go out and do the shopping and chores with her son and his ice-cream container hat. She was so proud!
