Isabelle running around the kitchen as we’re looking for birthday candles. Because I said, it’s not birthday cake without birthday candles.
As we’re searching in vain hearing, “Gimme!”
“Cake!!”
“Pease.”
And when that didn’t give her the result she wanted, Isabelle pushed a chair up to the cake to help herself. Thinking of that has been making me smile for days. What am I talking about, I’m still smiling.

i never get a cake anymore for my birthday. i’d have to make it myself if i really wanted one. lol.
Oh she is just too cute! My 3 year old loves to try to find candles for me to light so he can pretend it’s his birthday. Ah the magic of candles!
