Bibs for Trixie’s Baby

Trixie is making a 100 good wishes quilt for the baby she will be adopting. She asked for 2 quilt squares so I bought some lovely not $1 a yard fabric. And I had extra fabric left so I thought I’d make her a couple of bibs too. Makes me wonder why I am so stingy with buying fabric for myself…
I used the pattern from Amy Karol’s book, Bend-the-Rules Sewing. I loved making them. They were easy to make. Such a quick and simple project, now I want to make some for Isabelle but she doesn’t use bibs.
And I even tried some handmade tags! Got the idea from disdressed.

Cute! Love the label.
Very cute bib! And thanks for pointing me to the label tutorial.
So, so cute! I love those fabrics and the bibs turned out great. The label is the perfect touch. Of course it took me a few minutes to realize it wasn’t an ink smear on them … (It’s late here and I’m tired!)
Love looking at your FOs. They are jus great…
oh how adorable. I’m a newbie sewer and I just got the Bend the Rules Sewing book. I can’t wait to try these little bibs.
You’re blog is simply precious and I’ll be back for sure!

PLEASE tell me where you got that cute print on top!
Kuky says: I got it from ebay.
It’s Alexander Henry, smiles around the world.
Love the bibs. I have that book and need to give the bibs a try. And, the label is just adorable!!! So crafty and clever.
lovely!! love the zakka label too
The photo doesn’t even do justice to the fabric! How funny is it that I totally missed this post originally and was thus even more surprised when the box arrived??? AND that I found the post simply because you figured out to make the category box work for finished projects??? SEE! It’s a good thing you get that working
