Drawing of yeti and seamonster at the beach
Last month Tina from ilikeseamonsters.com was calling for coloring book pages from artists. So I sent along a black and white version of yeti and seamonster at the beach. It’s for a new site, Yeti Loves Seamonster, which promotes cool handmade goods for kids. They link to member shops, have a blog, and coloring book pages to download. It’s cool! Go check it out.

I have more ideas for coloring book pages. Yetis and seamonsters, what a fun subject!! I think about all sorts of things they can do together. I just wish I could draw what I visualize to my satisfaction. Sometimes I can’t get it the way I like and of course there is always the distraction of Isabelle…

Animation of me eating kettle corn
We went to the farmers’ market to buy me some local honey. On our way out we walked by the kettle corn and just had to buy a bag. I…. C.A.N.N.O.T…. S.T.O.P…. E.A.T.I.N.G…. I.T! H.E.L.P!

bibs for Trixie's baby
Trixie is making a 100 good wishes quilt for the baby she will be adopting. She asked for 2 quilt squares so I bought some lovely not $1 a yard fabric. And I had extra fabric left so I thought I’d make her a couple of bibs too. Makes me wonder why I am so stingy with buying fabric for myself…

I used the pattern from Amy Karol’s book, Bend-the-Rules Sewing. I loved making them. They were easy to make. Such a quick and simple project, now I want to make some for Isabelle but she doesn’t use bibs.

And I even tried some handmade tags! Got the idea from disdressed.
