Something Else

So something else that I did while the computer was in the shop…KNITTING! Wow how many months has it been since I’ve knitted?! I started working on Miss Muffet again. There was a reason why I stopped. I remembered the reason when I picked it back up. I was on a confusing part of the pattern so I put it aside to give it some thought and never picked it back up. Well after all these months the pattern made sense!
So I was making pretty good progress. I really hope to finish it before Isabelle is too big to wear it. But then I got distracted with something else.

Reading! I know the new Harry Potter book is coming out soon so I decided that I must reread them all in preparation! But you know, I’m getting antsy to do something creative. This morning this intense desire to draw struck. I’ve been thinking of doing a drawing a day and in my head I thought I’ll get a pack of paper and just work through it, one a day. The desire was so strong I actually started to get ready to go out but changed my mind at the last second. Why? Because it is soooo damn hot outside. It’s not quite 100 but almost. So I figure I’ll just go out tomorrow since we’re going out anyways and save myself a trip.
See how I jump from one thing to another? Amazing that I get anything done at all! Well everyone enjoy your weekend! Hope it’s more productive than mine will be! ![]()

The knitting looks beautiful! I’m in awe of anyone who knits; it’s really just beyond my comprehension — and patience.

I think it’s great that you are getting hit with the creative bug.

Even lately it has been cold here. Foggy today. Some sun yesterday but then the fog came in.

WOW!!!! I had no idea that you are just as crazy as me!My husband is amazed at my ability to change subjects, projects, hobbies, plans, ect… I call it baby brain. I was smart at one time, I could focus ya know. I was a pediatric nurse at the largest Childrens Hospital in the southeast. I became a stay at home mom as soon as I had my first baby, and out went my (BRAIN) focus!
