Posting here has been very sporadic. Nothing much has been going on so I don’t really have anything to talk about. No drawing, sewing, or knitting. Just silliness like wearing buckets on heads.

Or eating while sitting on the table.

And wearing short shorts. They are so short they give me a giggle. Isabelle has so much fun with them. She sits there trying to put them on. Usually she’s unsuccessful. She only gets one leg on but stands up and smiles so proudly.

And no sitting on our laps for this family picture. Isabelle was determined to do her own thing. She’s getting so big. Our little girl is growing up.

So I was looking through my pictures and realized I never did show you the circle skirt I made for Isabelle…aaaahhh over a MONTH AGO. It has an elastic waist and I cut the elastic a wee bit too large. My reasoning was that she would then be able to wear it for longer. But I made it really too big because it won’t stay put and threatens to slide off. But that’s ok, she’s growing. I also made the tummy showing shirt that goes with this. But strangely enough I didn’t take a picture of it and now I cannot find it.

And here is the little troublemaker wearing it.

Of course she would not wear it for long. After this picture she complained and pulled it off.

It’s so cute how she pulls off her skirts. She stretches them all out and then takes them off over her head. Hee hee! On a different topic, look how skinny her legs are getting. No more baby fat cankles, waaaah!!!

A couple of weeks ago I had a problem publishing to my blog. Problem as in it would not publish after trying every so often for THREE HOURS! So I thought I’d give WordPress a try. And plus I like how they handle comments, in that you’re able to edit them and also that you get people’s email addresses instead of having to search high and low for them. However it’s sort of frustrating trying to get my blog over looking the way I want it to look. Like pull my hair out kind of frustrating.

I’m just blundering around not really knowing what I’m doing. See what I’m talking about. For example: I don’t know how to get my background color, that yellowish color, in back. But I guess I don’t really need that. No big deal. And how do I get my archives to display my old header? I sort of like how when I go back I can see my blog the way it was at that time. Is that even possible with WordPress? That’s something I can live without…I guess. But one thing that is driving me absolutely batty right now is the comment form. WHY IS IT SO DAMN BIG?? I tried playing around with my style file but it’s not in there. Maybe it’s in the comment file. Has anyone made the change over and if you have which one did you like better, Blogger or WordPress? Keeping in mind that I really like customizing the way my blog looks.

Well at least Isabelle is always a cute distraction. She was eating and had food in not just one hand but two!!

Usually when I feed the dogs Isabelle rushes over and tries to put her hands in the dog food. So I block her. With my butt. Ok that sounds so weird and my drawing isn’t really accurate. I’m holding the food scoop so see there is a reason I’m using my butt and not my hands. Ok back to what I was saying. So this used to work. The butt block would keep her away. But last night that didn’t work. She crawled between my legs. I looked down and there she was sitting in front of the dog food bins with the biggest smile on her face. She had outsmarted mama!

So last night I was sitting there like this. Confused. Trying to figure out WordPress. Still. Well sitting here like this except my eyes weren’t crossed. I do think they were a little glazed over reading about loops and conditional tags and oops my eyes just crossed. ;-D

So I took a break and started to draw. Drawing me confused. It’s a funny little picture, my arms are weird and look too long, and it’s just a little off but I liked it so am sharing it.

Well at least I figured out how to shrink the comment field so it wasn’t so damn big. And now if I can figure out my date based headers I’d be happy as a clam.

Just had to draw that too.
