I’ve been meaning to show these beautiful gocco prints from Amy Rice for weeks and weeks. Thank you Amy!! But I wanted to have the perfect frames for the picture I wanted to show. Silly. And stupid. No not stupid, but STUPID capitalized and in bold! Why STUPID? Guess. Guess why!
Here’s a hint. I put it up high where I thought Isabelle couldn’t reach them. Does that totally give it away?
Yep that’s right. Isabelle grabbed the middle one and crinkled it. Ok let me elaborate. She climbed onto the couch, leaned way over, like scary over the arm of the couch to get at my table and plucked that print up. Screaming ensued (from me: Aaaaaahhhhhh, you know that frantic there aren’t even any words kind of screaming), mad dash to pry it from her little hands, and then her refusal to let go and more crinkling thrown in with a dash of clenched teeth and I’m so happy to be squeezing something tight fists. I finally managed to get it from her but it’s crinkled now! Waaaah!! But you can’t stay mad at that face.

So in the prints went into not the perfect frames but this frame as you see here. So they are now protected from clenching, grabbing little hands. But have I learned? Sadly, no. Amy sent a total of four prints. The fourth one, a horizontal print, is sitting safely on my table. Ok ummmm ending this post now and in search of any frame, any frame at all…
