Snake Quilt Finished FINALLY

This is what I’ve been madly sewing away at, Alan’s snake quilt. It has been sitting unfinished for so long. I just found old pictures. They were dated 2003 so it’s been at least four years. FOUR YEARS!! How crazy is that?? I recently pulled it out and it’s been sitting on the couch just staring at me. So I started quilting what was left. I think I originally stopped because I ran out of thread and when I bought some more I just didn’t pick up where I left off. Well it happened again. I ran out of thread but this time I didn’t stop. I went immediately to buy more thread and then just kept on sewing. I didn’t want it to sit unfinished for another four years.

The design is from K.P Kids & Co. There are supposed to be black buttons for the eyes but I don’t want to put them on. It’s more comfortable without buttons on it.
Ok let me just do a happy dance that this is finally finished! Now I’m off to sew an octopus.

Let me be the first to say BRAVO!!! It’s fabulous! You are so talented. I’d love to learn how to quilt one day. I’m glad you didn’t stop this time – and just look at the results! Yay!
That’s an awesome quilt! The bright colors are cool.
Wow…very beautiful plaid and I know much work!

I remember you posting about this quilt before. I love it! The bright, citrus colors are great and the froggie backing is very cute.
Wow, great job! And I agree, it must be a lot more confortable without the buttons.
