Finished Quilt Block

I made a log cabin quilt block for Quilts for the Kims. I only needed to make one so why are there two in this picture? Well, I struggled with the math for it and after much frustration just decided to go with the last number I ended up with. Which was WRONG.
So I ended up with a block that I was very happy with EXCEPT that it is a quarter of an inch too small all around. So another one had to be made.
What shall I do with the first one? A pillow perhaps?

oooooh, so pretty
Yes, a pillow would be good. That is so very pretty.
The log cabin quilt is my absolute favorite pattern – I’ve made so many. Yours is so beautiful. You should definitely make something with the square that you have leftover.
it’s perfect!!!
That is so pretty!
So pretty! Mine was 1/4″ too small as well. I hate when that happens!
Oooh cute cute cute! Beautiful work talented girl! Hugs!!
Great looking block!
ok – mine is log cabin, too and ended up 1/2″ too small…maybe we used the same math!
regardless, you did a beautiful job!
Can you put a border around the edge to make it the right size? If not, definitely use it to make a bag or a pillow!
it turned out great! i like the fabrics you used!
Beautiful! I love the fabrics you chose too.
