Do You Pay Your Taxes?

We sure would like to keep more of the money Alan works so hard for.
My sister sent me this link to a documentary about income taxes and how there is no law that requires us to pay this tax. I’ve just started watching it.
I’ve come to a point in the film where they’re talking about education, highway construction, and defense. Well they say our income taxes don’t pay for those things. IT DOESN’T?! I’m thinking. They are paid through state tax, gas tax, and corporate taxes. Then a question was raised as to where is the financial statement that shows how our money is spent. You know, I ask Alan this whenever tax time comes around. How is our money spent?

it gets even more disturbing towards the end with id chips and tazing a poor woman just because her license is suspended. Makes me want to move but move where? Where is there actually a safe and honestly free country - not where they are brainwashed to beleive they are free- to live? Anybody know?

I haven’t finished watching it yet. Isabelle went down for a nap.
But it’s my understanding that the US has pretty low taxes compared to other developed countries.

Ugh. I want to know and I don’t want to know. lumlumaaaaaaah is right, move where? You are right, our taxes are kinda low. Ugh. I think I’ll go watch Omen 2 and crochet.
