We did some shopping today at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek. When I was taking this picture a nice lady ran up behind me and tried to get Isabelle’s attention so she would look my way. Isabelle was more interested in the fountain.

I love taking pictures of her.

Well the main reason for this post is here below. Do you see what I’m talking about?

Just throwing this picture in too because she’s oh so cute!

And here is what I was talking about. Alan dressed her today. And nothing matched. NOTHING!
Bright turquoise shirt, pinkish pants, oh you didn’t see the purple striped sweater she was wearing, and one pink sock shoe and one yellow sock shoe.

Ha ha ha!

I like watching tv. During the day I like having the Food network on and sometimes Home and Garden. And then at night I watch prime time. Ok who am I kidding. I love tv. I’m addicted.
So there have been times when I said to Alan. No tv. Let’s not watch tv. Let’s stop before a new season starts and we won’t get sucked in. Alan just laughs because he knows that won’t happen. And then when Isabelle was born I said I didn’t want her watching tv.
So do I let her watch tv? Well the answer to that would be an emphatic YES! I put the tv on to distract her when I change her diapers. I put the tv on when I’m cooking. I put the tv on when I’m on the computer and don’t want her banging on my keys. I put the tv on when I’m knitting and don’t want her pulling at my stitches. And Alan pretty much has the tv on ALL THE TIME.
So the other day Isabelle was watching Sprout tv. I turned it off and WAAAHHHH!! Ok I’m exaggerating. She didn’t cry and scream but she did start to whine. (Have you ever seen that Simpson episode where Lisa and Bart are hugging the tv? Sorry that just popped into my head.)
DAMN YOU TV, you mesmerizing box you! I hate you and I love you.
Ok I’m on the computer right now and Mr. TV is off. We’re listening to music instead. HA HA! Take that TV!!
Alan brought me to a quilt show on the weekend, my very first ever. I had decided not to go the night before but when Alan woke up he decided that we would all go. He loves me. ![]()

On the fairgrounds outside the quilt show
And what did I buy at the quilt show? Yarn! Ha ha ha! This is Miss Muffet. It’s from Rowan Classic Bambino book twelve. Alan thinks it looks weird. I think it’s cute!

After two months of trying, I was finally able to get some pictures of Isabelle walking using the new camera. Pictures that I actually liked! A whole slew of them!! So many I could even animate them. ![]()

We’ve been going to the little park up the street from us to take pictures with the new camera. It takes pictures so fast. It’s so easy to snap away. I think we ended up leaving with over 100 pictures each time.

In fact I think our picture count from Sunday is up to about 500. WOW! I never took so many pictures with my old camera. Maybe because this is new and different.

Talking about different…something different on the Nikon that I’m not used to is the picture size, the ratio is different. So for example if I reduce it to 4 inches on the width I get 2.678 inches on height. On my Canon it’s 4 inches by 3 inches. Why is that?

Oh and another difference is the way I take pictures. I was telling Christine that with my old camera I used the LCD to take pictures. Not anymore with the Nikon. I have to use the eyepiece. That’s taking some getting used to.

The sweet wonderful Christine of vegasandvenice got me a pro Flickr account for my birthday! I told her that I was so happy and giddy I wanted to tell everyone and yell it from the rooftops.
Thank you so much my camera buddy!! You’re awesome!!!
