Yarn Came In

I ordered some yarn and it came in. Some yarn…ok lots of yarn. I plan to make Great Uncle Angus from Jean Greenhowe’s MacScarecrow Clan. It would be nice to have the whole family. I say plan because I bounce from project to project so who knows when I’ll get them done.

Scamp came from the same book. Which reminds me. I really must ask my friend if she has another Jean Greenhowe book. She got the MacScarecrow Clan when she went back to England to visit her family. I think she also has the Mascot Dolls. I really want a little policeman or a bobby I think is what they’re called. Oh so exciting. Excited for projects that are yet to be.

The MacScarecrow Clan … the Scottish Scarecrow Family. I am totally cracking up. They remind me of the ‘actors’ in the 60’s classic Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer and the other stop motion movies. Just be careful they don’t come to life!

Oh my gosh. My heart started beating faster when I saw the top of the yarn pyramid. Yeah, I have bags and bags of yarn that I’ve purchased over the last month or so… I need no more yarn! But when I see the pwetty colors I want more!

    hi there,
I’ve got the book with the policeman ( or the polis as we call them in Scotland). If you drop me and e mail I can see what I can do to get it to you.
