I love watching Isabelle eat. When we give her our food she opens her mouth like a little bird and waits for us to place it in. Sometimes it slides out and she pokes it back in with her finger. And when she picks up food herself she gently holds it between her thumb and finger. But then smashes her palm into her mouth. Which means the food sometimes misses her mouth. It’s too cute.
Watch out next month she will be smashing the food in her hand for texture. It is funny….the first time
Watching them eat is amazing isn’t it, but I definitely had to get over my “oh no he has a drop on his chin” thing.
oh yes, and then there comes the moment where they only want to eat ‘alone’, and you are no longer allowed to help her! Fun! food all over the place!
