Silly Parent #18, Yanking the Button

This happened when Isabelle was weeks old. I was reminded of it the other day. What happened was I was going to give Isabelle a bath so I started first. Alan went to take off her onesie. Now most of her onesies have snaps. But this particular one had a button at the shoulder, not a snap. So when Alan went to unsnap like usual he yanked the entire button off. Ha ha ha!

Oh and what reminded me of this was the other day Alan couldn’t take Isabelle’s dress off. He pulled a silly parent #10, he couldn’t get it off because he hadn’t unbuttoned it. He was yanking on it and wondering why it wasn’t coming off. Just like me. Hee heee hee!

Go read Silly Parent #17, too loose diaper.

Lately I’ve been really digging fabric. Ask Alan. I think I’m driving him batty with wanting to just swing by the fabric store. Which you know is never swing by but always longer than he wants.

Well anyhoo, this fabric is for a quilt. I plan to make one something like the Denyse Schmidt hop skip jump quilt. I really like the look of it but I want to try without her templates and larger than a crib size. We’ll see how it goes.

I usually take the pictures. But it’s nice when Alan does because when I download all the pictures I get nice surprises like this. RAWR!!

Update: No she’s not imitating animals. Hee heee hee! :-D I just thought the RAWR fit in with the picture.
