Alan made me some food after Isabelle was asleep for the night. I tried to eat quietly sitting by the bed. But the fork kept clinking against the plate. Solution: lick the food off the plate.

i’ve got the image of you huddled in the dark with only the crack of light from the barely open closet door licking your plate! lol
maybe you should try moving closer to the door each week. a few feet at a time. see if she notices you not being in the room.

You are so cute. Yeah, I’d say it’s time for you to move dinner out of the bedroom. You’ve earned being able to eat with a fork!

I’m shaking my head in disbelief. I did some of the same things when I was a mom the first time.
