Monsters

Wow this was labor intensive. I hand embroidered this pee pee monster’s outline. It took forever!! I must embroider super slow or something. And owww does my finger hurt just from holding the needle. I really like how the darker outline looks but I think I need to figure out a different way to do get this look.
And look it’s a teething monster! Inspired from this drawing.

I guess that’s better than calling him the kicking your ass monster. ![]()

Cute cute cute! What about using black yarn as the outline and just couching it in? Or you could use bias tape or non-rick-racky (straight?) rick-rack. I love that we get to see your monsters as they evolve.

You’ve inspired me to create some stuffies for a group of women. I’ve been helping facilitate a divorce recovery group at my church and last night one of them mentioned “wanting to slap the snot out of” her ex. We all agreed that a snot-slapping pillow would be a better idea. Light bulb moment! After class I was off to purchase some felt, yarn and fabric. I’ll post pics on my blog after I put one together. I can only hope I come up with something as cute as yours (and I seriously don’t think I’ll be able to, but I’m going to give it a shot.)
