We’ve been gardening. Or I should say Alan has been, while I made a feeble attempt and am now all sniffles from my allergies.

We have this rose bush that has just gone wild. We don’t water it yet it blooms every year and it was all branchy, crazy, and big. It was taller than me. And it had these massive roses on it.

I say had because I tried to thin it out and clean it up a little even though I don’t like roses. But it was just so daunting and with so many branches it was hard to know where to cut. So Alan hacked it down to two feet. He bet me that it’ll come back. I don’t think so. I think it’s done for.
