I was going to write a post about what a rough night me and Isabelle had and put up this accompanying drawing. But when I got to this stage of my drawing I thought I’m damn tired so I can finish this tomorrow! And I really like this drawing unfinished so I’m posting it, as is.

Ok back to what I was going to say yesterday. We had a rough night. Isabelle woke up around 2am in the morning. MORNING!! I think it’s because we’re sick. So at 2am IN THE MORNING I noticed my eyelid was twitching. And it didn’t go away. The whole next day it was twitching and I kept saying to Alan, LOOK do you see it? DO YOU?? I was hoping it would go away with sleep and thankfully it did. I’m all twitch free today. Ahem…even though she did wake up early, this time at 6am!

Great…I totally jinxed myself. No twitching all day and it just freaking started again!

We decided to give Isabelle some vitamin drops the other day. She made this awful little face and gagged a little. It’s the nastiest thing. Or as Alan says, smells like ASS!! We don’t want to give it to her again.

I blocked crumpets. It was laying nice and flat…or so I thought. I took the pins out and within minutes it started to curl again! Maybe I needed more water?? Guess I’ll have to block it again.

I’ve gone back to the baby blanket. I was blindly knitting away when I noticed a funny stitch. So I thought I would drop the stitches and fix it with a crochet needle. However when I got down to the funny stitch, there was this big loop of yarn. I don’t know what I did and I don’t know how to fix it. If I really wanted to I guess I could frog back but ummm NO.

I don’t usually do two posts a day but I just had to. I AM IN LOVE WITH SIGMUND!!

Here’s my finished pink skirt. And of course me being silly in it because hello…finished a project!! It didn’t go quite as planned. It was a little too large and I couldn’t make the little triangle piece fit in so it looked like a triangle. I sewed it countless times and each time it was NOT A TRIANGLE EVEN THOUGH I CLEARLY CUT IT OUT AS ONE. I think the whole seam allowance thing was throwing me off. I couldn’t wrap my mind around how to do a seam allowance for a point. And even when I thought I knew what to do it just didn’t work out. Also the hem wasn’t straight but was all wonky and uneven.

So this was the plan.

But this is what I ended up with.

That didn’t keep me from wearing it out proudly though.
