I totally forgot to mention. Last month we took Isabelle to get pictures done in a studio at the mall. It was ok. But it was expensive and I felt rushed to choose pictures I liked. And then when they printed them out, some of them were cropped in too close for my taste and there was barely any cutting room. I meant to go back and say hey! fix this! but I just never got around to it. There were 14 shots but we only purchased 5.

This is Isabelle’s lovey or should I say it’s supposed to be her lovey. It’s a grizzly bear dressed up as a bunny rabbit. We keep forgetting to use it. I forget to wear it to get my scent on it and to put it between us when she’s nursing. She seems to sleep fine without it though.

Mmmmm…yummy!!

This is the fabric I will be using to make a skirt for the Sew? I Knit along. It’s been hanging on our bedroom doorway for months. We put it up when Isabelle got sick and I had the humidifier on. I had wanted to buy some new fabric for the sew along but haven’t gotten around to it so finally pulled this fabric down. I meant it to be a skirt anyways…back when I was pregnant and didn’t feel like buying new clothes and thought I’d make myself some. Yeah…like that really happened!

My friend Bridgette comes out to visit with us almost every weekend. Hopefully she’ll remember to talk Chinese to us and then I’ll use it more so that Isabelle will pick it up.

Just needs straps now. Bwa ha ha! And even better, it fits Isabelle!! BWA HA HA HA!!

My little turtle face girl had a doctor’s appointment today (I call her that because lately she’s been making this turtle face a lot). She now weighs 18 pounds 6 oz. She’s in the 94th percentile or something for weight but her head size is only in the 75th percentile. Her head is too small for her body!! Ha ha ha! Just kidding. She’s perfect I say!!! PERFECT!

And in other less fun and more disturbing news…I was checking my stats and saw someone linked to me and used a picture of Isabelle and altered it a little (not in a bad way, they just added some text). It wasn’t creepy like look at MY adorable baby and web page it was more like oh I like this and the baby looks happy but let me tell you it was sort of disturbing and freaking me out, the fact that my baby’s picture was out there somewhere I did not put and didn’t allow and these strangers were talking about her, MY BABY!! I’m ok with people linking to me but taking her picture and posting it…freaky!!

And I showed Alan. And it’s not just me. He felt a little disturbed by it too. My inital reaction was of removing her pictures and not posting them anymore. I mean it really freaked me out. And the more I thought about it the more I was bothered and thought oh hell what’s the use? I might as well just remove this blog COMPLETELY!

But today I’ve calmed down a bit. My family and friends keep up to date on us here so I don’t want to stop blogging. So I’ve watermarked this picture and will for future pictures and try to get the old ones too. I’ve put that script back on even though it won’t work for the bloglines feed. I could block the picture from showing up on bloglines but I really like reading feeds with the picture there so I assume others do too so I am not doing that yet…And plus people who read regularly aren’t going to post pictures of Isabelle in strange places. Right? RIGHT?

Right! Well we’ll see how I’m feeling about everything later. I don’t know what to do. I’m just all weirded out.
