Did I mention? We are kangaroos. What am I talking about? Well remember the Moby Wrap I couldn’t figure out? Well thanks to Moxie’s suggestion to try the newborn cross carry something just clicked. Isabelle stopped fussing. Now we can wrap her that way or the moby way. And she loves it. She’ll just sleep or sit contentedly. Yes WE. Alan and me.

And last night I even breastfed Isabelle in the sling!! Thanks Moxie!!

A Laugh That Could Make You Cry

Ok not you. Me.

Isabelle just laughed, a real laugh! It was in reaction to my silly cooing noises. She has laughed before sort of but not really. Before she’s laughed in her sleep. Well they were more like snickers, with a smile on her face and then breathing noises. So they weren’t like real laughs. But this…THIS was a real laugh and my heart could just melt. I cried I was so thrilled.

I’ve Been Sick

I’ve been sick. 101.1 degree fever, nauseous, tired, and weak spaghetti arm kind of sick. I know I mentioned that me and Isabelle had colds. But we got over that. And I caught something else.

My spaghetti arms felt so weak that Isabelle felt super heavy. I could barely lift her. After Alan left for work I just sat her next to me. I felt so bad. Alan came home from work early to take care of us. I was so out of it I didn’t even do any knitting! Which is bad, bad, bad, because I have gifts that I wanted to make.

But I feel loads better now. Yay! Just in time for the weekend and Christmas tree shopping!!!

Visiting Santa?

Alan and I were talking about bringing Isabelle to get pictures with Santa. But I’m totally paranoid now. I’m worried that Santa will be all germy. Because you know he has kids on his lap all day. I don’t want her to get sick again.
