I’ve been meaning to write about how the dogs took to Isabelle but really there isn’t much to tell. The first day we brought her home the dogs didn’t really see her because she was in her car seat on the bed. Nestle kept wandering around the house because she could smell her. She knew something was different but couldn’t figure it out. That is until Isabelle started to cry. Right away Waldo jumped onto the bed forgetting completely that he’s not allowed. Alan yelled at him to jump down… actually to be more accurate, he screamed the house down. Since then the dogs pretty much ignore Isabelle. Once in a while they’ll come over and sniff her. Waldo tries to lick her. But other than that she might as well not be here. Go figure…they even sleep through her crying.
