I a semi out of my funk. I think posting about it yesterday spurred me into action. I fixed the hem on my wrap skirt and here it is:
I plan to make a couple more of these. And since I was taking pictures…here I am wearing the elastic skirt.
And after that little burst of craftiness I think I’ll fall back into my funk.
If I could only find my quilt book. I am convinced that once I do, that will get me going and I will start the baby’s quilt.

Yetserday I saw so some cute cotton skirts at a little shop at Carpinteria Beach and, since they wre $60, I thought “Oh I could just make some skirts!” I knew I probably never would. You are so inspiring though. Maybe I WILL go pick up a few yards of fabric today and bust out the machine.
Love both of the skirts! Pretty colors.

I love that wrap skirt. Is that a pattern or your original design. I’m thinking about taking up sewing again. I hate being “between” sizes and nothing fitting correctly. Plus my daughter has a great interest in learning how to sew (more than knitting!).
