Look! I made a skirt. I wanted to make something stretchy cuz I’m getting big. This is made with an elastic waist band.

It didn’t turn out exactly as I imagined. I didn’t have enough fabric first of all so I just worked with what I had. I was going to add some pink ribbon to it but I didn’t realize my ribbon was really thin and see through so it barely shows up. And the skirt is a little too big. But I guess I’ll grow into it.

It was very plain looking so I embroidered a birdy on it.

I’m sort of obsessed with this birdy right now as you can tell since I embroidered the birdies yesterday. Well that’s because that’s what’s going onto the baby’s quilt. The little birdy. Or I should say birdies. Daddy bird, momma bird, and baby bird. Well that is if I ever get started on it. And who knows when that will be. Why? Because I’m making slippers for the baby!
