After my creative burst of energy how many days ago and with the oppressive heat I guess I fizzled out. Fizzled out so much that I haven’t been in the mood to take pictures. Can you believe it?! No pictures of the dogs, no cooking pictures, and no crafty pictures. Yesterday my agapanthus post was a grasping for straws don’t have any real pictures or anything to talk about post. Could you tell? What knocked the creative energy right out of me? A wrap around skirt I made that has a screwed up hem that is screaming to be fixed. I haven’t fixed it yet and I haven’t picked up anything else in 2 days because of this funk I’m in.

So today I will post something creative from my oh so talented sister, Helen. Yes…take the easy way out. I don’t even have to take a picture. This is an old picture she sent me. Oh so easy…

She made this for her friend one year for Christmas. Her plan was to make all her dog friends a little statue with them and their dogs. It didn’t quite work out that way since this one little guy took forever. I think he’s the only one she ended up making. Isn’t he cool? And in the next picture she made the dog in a different pose.

So…let’s see if I can get out of my funk and fix that damn wrap skirt and actually take a picture of it.
