Trixie is so sweet I could cry. She sent me a package. Nestle was so excited she wouldn’t even let me finish opening it before thrusting her little head in there (she was after the bones). I knew a book was coming and something for the dogs. But look what else I got! Something for the baby (the cutest little bib and little baby mittens so she won’t scratch her little baby face) and candy, YES CANDY for me!

Awwww *sniff, sniffle I’m all teary eyed*

Thank you Trixie! You’re AWESOME!

I’ll Make You I Will

I’ve been trying to get Alan to take pictures of me while I’m pregnant. And then I changed my mind and said pictures of the BOTH OF US. So on the weekend I forced him to take pictures. Yes forced him. Over and over and said one more…one more. And I’m so glad. Now when our little baby grows up she’ll see how we looked when we were young and she wasn’t born yet. :)

More For The Baby

I got another package today in the mail. This time it’s from an old high school friend, Lorraine, who now lives in Oregon. In the package there were cute little pink outfits for the baby, pink socks, a pink hat, and pink shoes. SHOES! Tiny little shoes that fit into the palm of your hand.

Awwww they’re sooo cute. Thank you Lorraine!

On a sort of different rambling but sort of along the same lines…This morning I had really really bad stomach cramps for about 3 hours. I think I ate something bad. Alan was at work and when the pain got too much I finally called him to see when he’d be home. That was around 7:50am and he was headed to his car to come home.

He was so worried about me. He thought maybe we should call the doctor but I felt ok by the time he got home. He sat with me by the bed for a while and finally left my side to make something to eat. A little bit later he came back in with this look on his face. This look that makes me want to cry now that I’m thinking about it. It was the sweetest I’m so happy look.

In his hands were the little pink shoes. He just noticed them on the way to the kitchen and had carried them in to me. I had already seen them of course since I HAD opened the package but I guess he wanted to share that happy feeling with me, that I’m so happy we’re having a baby feeling. As if my growing belly weren’t enough, these tiny little shoes…tangible evidence of something small and wonderful coming our way.

I’ve been neglecting my blog for a couple of days. Hmmm…actually more then a couple. I’ve been ignoring the computer. And when I have been on I’ve been surfing the web and playing games. Here’s one that Helen sent me to and I tried a couple of times: The Alien Conquest of Earth.

I was offered to host a shopping network show. In the game not in real life. And when I say yes the game disappears. :( And then I played again and became president and had to decide what my first move as president would be. Then the game froze. :( Damn it!!! I want to rule Earth!! Oh well guess world domination will have to wait.

The Machinist

We rented The Machinist from Blockbuster the other day and haven’t gotten around to finish watching it. Alan started to watch it last week without me and said the little he watched was dark. And whenever we start to watch it together I’m eating something and it’s at a part in the movie where Alan says umm you might not want to be watching this part while you’re eating. So then I thought oh maybe I don’t want to be watching the whole movie period. Is it some kind of disturbing movie? Well I know Christian Bale is disturbing in this. He is sooooooo skinny it’s scary. I didn’t even recognize him at first. Did he have to starve himself to make him look so creepy? I mean REALLY CREEPY seeing his bones and yeck.

Think it was special effects and makeup?

Well maybe we’ll give it another try when Alan gets home from work. And I’ll just make sure I’m not eating.
