Seared Rib-Eye with Montreal Spice Mix

I made seared rib-eye with montreal spice mix for dinner. It’s from guess what magazine…Fine Cooking of course. This was from the May 2003 issue #57. It smelled delicious. But Alan said it wasn’t very flavorful. I guess that’s because the mix is sprinkled on at the end. So unlike the salmon which was yummy by itself I guess Alan wouldn’t want this by itself. So I won’t be making this again.

Oh and I almost forgot. The plant. The rhododendron. I think you’re right Ann and Li. My friend saw it once 6 years ago and told me what it was and that word…rhododendron sounds familiar so it must be right.

And um also…my friend who got married…I didn’t ask. Nope. One of my friends lifted the kilt and another friend took a picture and YEP. COMMANDO.
