First Prenatal Visit
We went for our first prenatal checkup today. I was so scared. It was our first visit the last time around when they couldn’t find the heartbeat. But this time it was different. Alan saw it right away even before the nurse pointed it out. But how could you miss it. The little fluttering that was going so fast. It was our baby’s heartbeat.
I’ve been ecstatic all day. I keep saying to Alan “Did you see the heartbeat?”. And he keeps saying “yes honey I WAS right there.”
I am so happy.

Congratulations! I loved being pregnant even though I had a really bad case of 24 hr sickness. Your ultrasound picture is wonderful. The nanny we used to employ told me not to eat carrots or the baby would have red hair. She was a midwife in the Philippines!
