Scrapbook Class
Posted in: Oops Didn't I Choose?

We went to the scrapbook class at the Beehive. I was so excited before, practically jumping up and down.
So how was the class? It was ok. It wasn’t what I expected. I thought they would show us more. But nope. Just here are the directions and if you need help, just ask. The problem with that was Alan never did any scrapbooking and when we signed up I specifically asked what the class was like and was told they would show us everything and that it was a good class for a beginner to scrapbooking. So based on what the salesperson said, I was expecting the class to be a certain way and that’s why I was disappointed.
Another disappointment…the kits. The mini albums were supposed to have complete kits. However, Alan’s kit was missing items and had substitution paper. His last puppy pages was a substitute and I don’t think the replacement paper looks that great. In fact I’d say it’s a crappy page.
Oh just thought of another thing. I was told my blue album (which was not in when we signed up for the class) would be ordered and would be there for the class. And it wasn’t. Again very disappointing. I asked that my album be ordered and was told I would be called when it arrived. Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of confidence that it will be done promptly if at all.
Even with all that disappointment I did enjoy the scrapbooking class. And I love our pages. I think they’re very nice even though they are crooked (crooked because we both rushed so we could make sure nothing was missing from the kits). I love them in spite of or maybe because of all the little imperfections. See pictures of the baby boy scrapbook I did for Helen and Alan’s scrapbook, pet dog.
