Scrapbook Class And Knitting Progress
Posted in: Knitting
I’m so excited! We went to the scrapbook store in Martinez, The Beehive. There’s a class on October 17th and since that’s close to my birthday Alan agreed to take it with me! We’re going to be doing “Mini Albums”. I’m going to do the baby boy one for my sister and Alan is going to do a dog one. I can’t wait! I was so happy on the drive home just thinking about it. And Olinda even agreed to go. Yay yay yay! I was saying to Alan it would be fun if it was only the three of us in the class. He said that probably won’t happen. Then I said, “do you think you’re going to be the only guy?” And he replied all dejectedly, yep. The only reason he’s taking the class is because it’s my birthday. Heee hee hee!

So…on the knitting front. My French Market Bag knitting is going well. I’m working on the bag base. I’ve got 9 inches now and I need 12.5 inches. I decided to do the alternate flat knit version instead of in the round because it’s mindless knitting, something I could do watching tv, and also because I’ve tried knitting on the round before. I find it tricky. So if there’s an alternate, whoo hoo, that’s the way to go for me.
