Ok I knit too much today. I was working on the teddy bear. I’ve knit the back and front of the body, two little arms, two little ears, and I’m working on the head.

It was when I was working on the arms that I realized I misread the directions. The directions say “decrease 1 stitch at each end of the next and every following third row…”. I was busy making sure I understood the “next and every following third row” part and thought the directions said “at end” so I decreased only at the end and not on each end. That one little word makes so much difference. I misread the directions twice! Once for the front body and then again for the back of the body. I thought it looked weird when I knit the front so I reread the directions. BUT I reread them WRONG again. When I knit the back wrong it looked just like the front so I thought hmmm…maybe it’s supposed to look weird. So the the front and the back are both too long. I will need to rip them back to the point I screwed up.
